Community Engagement Environmental Policy Biodiversity Policy

Emma Roylance pursued her M.S. in Biodiversity, Conservation, & Policy from the University at Albany, with a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Science at Binghamton University. She recently acted as a Research and Project Assistant with UAlbany’s Institute for Transformational and Ecosystem-based Climate Change. She has assisted in founding the Hudson-Mohawk Climate Corps and designing training and materials for the program, as well as acting as a crew lead in the field. Emma has also managed outreach and volunteering events, as well as giving guest lectures to undergraduate courses at UAlbany. Her research interests include environmental justice issues, climate adaptation, and monitoring and evaluation of resilience indicators and metrics within urban communities.
