Matthew Solo

Matthew Solo works as an Environmental Program Specialist for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Here, he manages grants and contracts for NYS food waste reduction programs, recycling, pesticide monitoring, and landfills. He holds a BA in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy along with an MPA in Environmental Policy. An avid outdoorsman, he is often camping, hiking, biking, running, and fishing. As such, he is passionate about conservation and sustainability and is particularly interested in developing homesteading networks.
